What You’ll Do

  • Perform budget planning for the Inspection and Enforcement Services Branch
  • Assist with various Human Resources functions to support operational needs
  • Manage procurement processes for goods and services required by the branch
  • Coordinate and consolidate information on complaints received
  • Compile and consolidate performance information to ensure organizational effectiveness

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma (NQF 6) or an Undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Office Management, Financial Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or Business Management
  • A minimum of one year of functional experience in office management or inspections and enforcement services
  • Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, as well as the Public Finance Management Act
  • Familiarity with financial administration processes and systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as email communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills, both verbal and written
