What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and manage statistical data for the Forensic Science Laboratory component.
  • Handle project-related inquiries and ensure timely responses.
  • Draft and facilitate feedback submissions for Parliament.
  • Monitor SAPS tasking logs and requests for information related to the FSL.
  • Oversee audit reports, ensuring responses are submitted as required.
  • Facilitate and monitor special projects post-audit action plans.

What You’ll Need

  • Competency in the core functions of the post.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • South African citizenship with documentary proof required.
  • Matriculation certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in a relevant field.
  • An applicable three-year Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) is an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license for a light motor vehicle is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of public service prescripts and good computer literacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and extended hours when necessary.
