What You’ll Do

  • Provide general clerical support services to facilitate departmental functions
  • Record, organize, store, and retrieve correspondence and data
  • Update registers and maintain statistics to ensure accurate tracking
  • Handle routine inquiries and provide assistance to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the filing system and ensure proper documentation flow
  • Type letters and other correspondence as needed
  • Maintain the incoming and outgoing document register
  • Assist with supply chain clerical support, including procurement processes
  • Keep and maintain the asset and leave registers for the component
  • Manage personnel records and attendance registers
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for department officials
  • Provide financial administration support, including processing travel claims and managing petty cash

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude
