What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the implementation and administration of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) at the district level.
  • Provide clerical support in obtaining and coordinating training needs.
  • Help with logistical arrangements for District Skills Development Committee meetings.
  • Support the Administrative Officer in drafting the Workplace Skills Plan in collaboration with the District Skills Development Committee.
  • Compile and collate training reports and maintain accurate filing according to the district file plan.
  • Assist in the administration of in-service training courses and Teacher Qualification Improvement Programmes.
  • Facilitate the administration of the National Teaching Awards process at the district level.
  • Provide support in the administration of performance management systems and training within schools.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
  • 6-11 months of relevant clerical experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable public service policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of people management processes.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying relevant policies.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
