What You’ll Do
- Manage personnel matters such as salaries, pensions, appointments, resignations, transfers, leave, and allowances using PERSAL.
- Assist staff and management with human resources and personnel inquiries, including recruitment and selection processes.
- Conduct audits of personnel, pension, and leave files to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Handle a variety of administrative tasks, including filing and clerical duties.
- Provide support in capturing transactions on PERSAL accurately and efficiently.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
- Relevant experience in personnel administration and human resources.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Word and Excel.
- Strong numeracy and mathematical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of Human Resource policies in the public service and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
