What You’ll Do
- Admit, register, and assess patients efficiently in the hospital system.
- Open patient folders and generate invoices using the Clinicom system.
- Provide an organized medical records and folder management service.
- Handle cash transactions, issue receipts, and maintain control over state funds.
- Manage various accounts related to patient fees, including IOD, RAF, and medical aid.
- Order and manage medical supplies and institutional requirements for the hospital.
- Collect and submit statistical data accurately and on time.
- Support the Operational Manager: Nursing with general hospital administration tasks.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics or Accounting as a passed subject.
- Experience working with Clinicom or in a hospital and/or patient fees environment.
- Familiarity with office administration processes.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of patient billing processes and ICD-10 coding.
- High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
