What You’ll Do

  • Render comprehensive asset management and logistical support services.
  • Develop and maintain a database for effective asset tracking.
  • Provide strategic advice to management on asset conditions and necessary replenishments.
  • Control the receiving and distribution of assets to ensure proper management.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to enhance asset management processes.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of the Asset Management Framework, Treasury Regulations, and Supply Chain Management Systems.
  • Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act, Hardcat, and BAS.
  • Proficiency in computer usage and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A post-matric qualification in Supply Chain Management or Finance is an advantage.

Requirements

Senior Certificate or equivalent.

Knowledge of Asset Management Framework, Treasury Regulations, Provincial SCM Practice Notes, Supply Chain Management System, Public Finance Management Act, Hardcat and BAS.

Computer literate, Good inter-personal relations, Good verbal and written communication skills.

Possession of a post-matric qualification in Supply Chain Management / Finance or in any other relevant field would be an added advantage.

Job Duties

To render assets and logistical support services.

Develop the data base for assets.

Provide advice to management on the state of assets.

Provide advice on replenishment of assets.

Control receiving of assets.

Salary

R237 453 per annum (Level 05)
