What You’ll Do
- Provide secretarial and receptionist support services in the Chief Director’s office.
- Manage the Chief Director’s appointments and meeting schedules.
- Render general administrative support and assist with meeting preparations.
- Oversee the Chief Director’s office budget and manage expenses.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and handle all related correspondence.
- Stay updated on legislative prescripts, policies, and procedures relevant to the position.
- Support financial administration related to the office’s operations.
What You’ll Need
- A three-year tertiary qualification in management assistant or secretarial studies at NQF level 6, or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of prescripts and policies governing public service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A solid grasp of customer relations and telephone etiquette.
- Proficiency in computer applications and basic financial administration.
- Ability to work independently under pressure, manage deadlines, and take initiative.

Requirements
Three-year tertiary qualification in management assistant/ secretarial studies at NQF level 6 or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications as recognized by SAQA.2 years’ experience applicable to the relevant discipline.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of Prescripts / Policies.
Good Communication (verbal and written), excellent customer relations, good telephone etiquette, computer literate, problem-solving, report writing and interpersonal skills.
Must have the ability to negotiate deadlines, take initiative, work independently and under pressure.
Basic financial administration.
Job Duties
