What You’ll Do
- Manage the demand and acquisition of goods and services necessary for educational projects.
- Advertise bids and source quotations through the EPS system.
- Prepare procurement batches for review by the Quotation Committee.
- Adjudicate bids in compliance with regulations via the EPS platform.
- Ensure all transactions adhere to legislative and prescriptive requirements.
- Facilitate the preparation and processing of documentation for BAS payments.
- Maintain and update records for all projects on the Engineering database.
- Assist with various ad hoc tasks as required by the department.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject.
- Relevant experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes and Financial Management principles.
- Familiarity with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPF) and Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE).
- Understanding of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) requirements.

Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas of the post.Experience: Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of SCM processes.
Knowledge of Financial Management.
Knowledge of Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPF).
Knowledge of Broad Black Based Economic Empowerment (BBBEE).
