What You’ll Do

  • Provide patient administration services including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Offer general administrative and office support to the healthcare team.
  • Handle inquiries professionally, addressing patient and family needs with care.
  • Assist with compiling statistics, preparing reports, and managing stock control.
  • Coordinate transport bookings and provide support across various Patient Administration areas as needed.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Relevant experience in a healthcare environment is essential.
  • Willingness to work shifts as required by the hospital’s operational needs.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles and Patient Rights Charter is advantageous.
