About the Opportunity

Royal Bafokeng Holdings is proud to announce the opening of applications for the 2027 RBH CA Bursary Programme. This initiative is designed to support students who are passionate about pursuing a career as Chartered Accountants. Eligible candidates will receive funding to study Accounting Sciences in the Chartered Accountant stream at a SAICA-recognized and registered public South African university.

Closing Dates

Applications must be submitted by 31 July 2026 at 23:59. Late submissions will not be considered, so ensure your application is complete and submitted on time.

Key Responsibilities

While the bursary primarily focuses on financial support, recipients are expected to maintain high academic standards and actively participate in any related activities or workshops organized by RBH.

Requirements/Qualifications

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens and unemployed youth from the Royal Bafokeng Nation.
  • Be accepted to study Accounting Sciences in the Chartered Accountant stream at a SAICA-recognized university.
  • Be first-year students in 2027.
  • Not be recipients of any other bursary in 2027, including NSFAS.

Academic Requirements

Applicants must have achieved a minimum of Level 5 in Mathematics, English, and Accounting. Note that Maths Literacy and Technical Mathematics are not considered.

Required Documents

Applicants must provide certified copies of the following:

  • ID (not older than 3 months)
  • Proof of residence, Lekwalo la Kgosana (not older than 3 months)
  • Matric certificate (when available)
  • Grade 11 results
  • Grade 12 Term 1 to Term 3 results
  • Proof of provisional or official university acceptance
