What You’ll Do
- Supervise and render financial accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Receive and allocate invoices, verifying their correctness and processing payments.
- Oversee salary administration support services, including processing salary advices and capturing salary adjustments.
- Manage bookkeeping support services and verify all financial transactions captured.
- Clear suspense accounts and record debtors and creditors effectively.
- Compile and verify journals, offering budget support services to ensure accurate expenditure tracking.
- Supervise the distribution of financial documents and enhance staff performance through personnel development.
- Maintain accurate filing of all financial documents and ensure cash collections are handled properly.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate or a relevant equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial environment.
- Basic knowledge of financial functions, practices, and public service financial legislation.
- Proficiency in financial operating systems (PERSAL, BAS, LOGIS).
- Strong planning and organizational skills, along with computer literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A good understanding of basic numeracy and accuracy in handling figures.
- Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
