About the Opportunity

The RBH Bursary Programme is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Chartered Accountants. This initiative supports students pursuing a BCom Accounting Sciences CA-stream degree, providing them with the financial backing and industry exposure needed to excel in their studies and future careers.

Applications must be submitted by January 2, 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by January 9, 2026. If you do not receive feedback by this date, please consider your application unsuccessful.

Key Responsibilities

As a bursary recipient, you will be expected to maintain high academic standards and actively participate in any mentorship or industry exposure opportunities provided by RBH.

Requirements/Qualifications

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens under the age of 35
  • Be unemployed
  • Be in Matric (2025) or have completed Matric
  • Achieve a minimum Level 5 (60–69%) in Mathematics (excluding Maths Literacy and Technical Maths)
  • Achieve at least Level 5 in English and Accounting
  • Intend to study full-time in 2026 for a BCom Accounting Sciences (CA Stream) degree
  • Have applied to a SAICA-recognised public university in South Africa
  • Be entering their first year of study in 2026
  • Not be receiving NSFAS, bursaries, or other financial aid
  • Reside within the Royal Bafokeng Nation
