About the Opportunity
Coronation Fund Managers is proud to offer the Coronation Exceptional Student Bursary for the 2027 academic year. This bursary is designed to support academically strong students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are pursuing or planning to pursue undergraduate degrees in Commerce-related disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
Successful bursary recipients will be expected to maintain academic excellence and demonstrate active student engagement. After graduation, recipients will enter into a work-back commitment, serving one year of work for each year of bursary funding received.
Requirements/Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Be in Matric or have completed Matric
- Be studying or intending to study full-time towards an undergraduate Commerce-related degree
- Be enrolled or have applied to a recognized and accredited South African university
- Have an excellent academic record with a minimum overall average of 75% for Matric students and 70% for current university students
- Demonstrate strong leadership potential and be well-rounded individuals
Preference is given to students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, those aligning with the sponsor’s transformation objectives, and those in specific fields such as Data Analysis, IT, Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, and Software or Computer Engineering.
Benefits
The bursary covers various educational expenses, details of which will be confirmed upon awarding. It is renewable annually based on academic performance, student engagement, and sponsor budgets.
Selection Process
Applicants will receive an email confirmation upon submission. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews and psychometric assessments. If no feedback is received within three months post-closing date, consider the application unsuccessful.
