What You’ll Do

• Chair meetings in the absence of the Chairperson, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication
• Analyze and evaluate information from various sources to assess risks associated with individual offenders
• Participate in case hearings, collaboratively making judgments based on evidence presented
• Prepare concise summaries and reports to aid in decision-making processes
• Represent the Parole Board effectively at hearings and other relevant events

What You’ll Need

• A recognized NQF level 7 qualification in Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, or a related field
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience or active involvement in community leadership
• A strong commitment to maintaining a corruption-free administration
• A positive standing within the community, supported by extensive life experience
• A demonstrated special interest in the Criminal Justice System and its processes
