What You’ll Do
- Type a variety of court documents, including orders, appeals, and reports.
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing files efficiently.
- Compile and maintain essential court registers and rolls.
- Draft term rolls for court terms in accordance with Gazetted terms.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to submit necessary orders and documents.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to legal terminology and procedures.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
- No prior experience is required, though legal or court experience will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing skills (minimum speed of 35 words per minute).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain good interpersonal relations.
