About the Role
The Department of Employment and Labour is seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Team Leader: Inspection and Enforcement Services in Springs and Temba. What You’ll Do
- Plan and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with labor legislation
- Investigate reported cases of labor law violations
- Prepare and represent the department in court as a State witness
- Conduct proactive inspections and advocacy campaigns on labor legislation
- Manage the finalization of case files and reports
- Contribute to the planning and drafting of regional inspection plans
What You’ll Need
- National Diploma (NQF6) or Undergraduate Bachelor Degree (NQF7) in Labour Relations, Labour Law, LLB, or BCOM Law
- A minimum of two years’ experience in Inspection and Enforcement Services
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong knowledge of labor-related legislation and departmental policies
- Excellent skills in facilitation, planning, organizing, and problem-solving
