What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of fleet vehicles.
- Monitor and log daily kilometres travelled before and after trips.
- Authorize trip itineraries and ensure compliance with transport policies.
- Certify invoices for processing monthly payments.
- Maintain accurate records of driver’s licenses and trip authorizations.
- Conduct pre and post inspections of vehicles.
- Coordinate quarterly inspections of subsidized vehicles and process new applications.
- Address traffic fines and ensure proper service maintenance of vehicles.
- Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as directed by supervisors.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Transport Management, Logistics, Public Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of one year of experience in fleet or transport management.
- Strong understanding of relevant policies, including PFMA and government transport regulations.
- Proficient in BAS with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and strong interpersonal skills.
