What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative support for procurement processes within the NPA.
  • Capture and compile procurement requests for approval.
  • Request and evaluate quotations for goods and services.
  • Liaise with both internal and external clients to fulfill procurement needs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database to ensure accuracy and relevance of information.
  • Ensure compliance with Treasury regulations, the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), and internal policies.
  • Respond to queries from various stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Assist with other tasks as required by your supervisor, including potential rotation to different sections within Supply Chain Management.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of the PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
  • Proven competency in independent and accountable work.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills.
  • Intermediate computer literacy in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle extended hours as necessary.
  • Reliability, tolerance, and determination in all tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
