What You’ll Do
- Facilitate and coordinate travel, accommodation, and conference bookings.
- Manage office correspondence, documents, and reports efficiently.
- Execute LOGIS functions related to the procurement of goods and services.
- Ensure timely capturing of invoice payments on LOGIS, BAS, or SAGE.
- Approve calls on Archibus and assist with ordering materials from suppliers.
- Administer documentation for requisitions and reports, ensuring accuracy.
- Submit invoices for payment and track them effectively using the invoice tracking system.
- Update commitment registers and reconcile accounts monthly.
- Provide inputs for financial statements and perform transit duties as instructed.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- No prior experience is required, making this a great opportunity for newcomers to the public service.
- Knowledge of Provisioning Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics is advantageous.
- Familiarity with electronic procurement systems, including LOGIS, BAS, SAGE, and Archibus.
- Strong communication skills, basic numeracy, and effective interpersonal relations.
- Proficiency in general office administration and organizational tasks.
- Computer literacy is essential for this role.
