What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee the college garage and vehicles to ensure optimal operation and maintenance.
  • Administer, monitor and control the use of petrol cards for the college fleet.
  • Ensure effective utilization of college vehicles in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Supervise staff within the transport department, promoting a collaborative working environment.
  • Implement maintenance schedules and oversee vehicle servicing to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations governing public service and transport operations.

What You’ll Need

  • Recognized National Diploma in Transport Management, Logistics, Public Management (NQF level 6), or equivalent qualification.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in fleet management, transport, or logistics services.
  • Knowledge of Treasury and PFMA Regulations applicable to fleet management.
  • Understanding of vehicle maintenance and service procedures.
  • Familiarity with legislative frameworks governing public service and traffic laws.
  • Valid driver’s license.
