What You’ll Do
- Perform minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Attend to heating, air conditioning, electrical, and fire systems maintenance.
- Handle routine maintenance requests and ensure timely action.
- Inspect and maintain water reticulation systems, drains, and toilets.
- Conduct inspections on electrical lighting and equipment for safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and communal areas.
- Prepare and store gas cylinders, replacing them as needed in the wards.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks like repairing doors and locks.
What You’ll Need
- NQF Level 3 qualification with at least 6 months of relevant trade experience.
- Basic knowledge of technical work and maintenance services.
- A proactive and responsive attitude towards maintenance needs.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
