What You’ll Do

• Provide routine technical services, including minor mechanical and electrical repairs
• Handle plumbing tasks and repair cracked walls and appliances
• Attend to heating, air conditioning, electrical systems, and fire safety protocols
• Repair water reticulation systems, broken windows, toilet flush systems, and stopcocks
• Unblock drains, toilets, basins, and sinks to ensure effective sewerage functionality
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections across 165 common and communal areas
• Prepare and store gas cylinders for hospital use and replace empty cylinders in wards
• Maintain cleanliness of the workshop and manage workshop store items
• Receive, assess, and action routine maintenance requests from staff
• Inspect, test, and maintain electrical and water systems, including fire alarms

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 3 qualification
• At least 6 months of trade-related experience
• Basic knowledge of technical maintenance work
• A self-motivated and responsive attitude with a positive outlook
