What You’ll Do
- Provide routine technical services, including minor mechanical and electrical repairs
- Handle plumbing tasks and repair cracked walls and appliances
- Attend to heating, air conditioning, electrical systems, and fire safety protocols
- Repair water reticulation systems, broken windows, toilet flush systems, and stopcocks
- Unblock drains, toilets, basins, and sinks to ensure effective sewerage functionality
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections across 165 common and communal areas
- Prepare and store gas cylinders for hospital use and replace empty cylinders in wards
- Maintain cleanliness of the workshop and manage workshop store items
- Receive, assess, and action routine maintenance requests from staff
- Inspect, test, and maintain electrical and water systems, including fire alarms
What You’ll Need
- NQF Level 3 qualification
- At least 6 months of trade-related experience
- Basic knowledge of technical maintenance work
- A self-motivated and responsive attitude with a positive outlook
