What You’ll Do

  • Plan and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with labour legislation
  • Investigate reported cases of labour law violations and prepare for court appearances as needed
  • Implement proactive inspections to monitor compliance and compile comprehensive reports
  • Conduct advocacy campaigns to raise awareness of labour legislation
  • Manage case files and oversee investigations conducted by inspectors
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of regional inspection plans and reports

What You’ll Need

  • Three-year National Diploma (NQF 6) or Undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Labour Relations, Labour Law, LLB, or BCOM Law
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Two years of functional experience in inspection and enforcement services
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Employment Services Act, Labour Relations Act, and Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Strong skills in facilitation, planning, organizing, and communication
