What You’ll Do

  • Compile bid adverts and documents for procurement processes.
  • Ensure tender adverts are placed on the e-tender portal and other required platforms.
  • Facilitate bid evaluation processes and provide administrative support to Bid Evaluation Committees.
  • Prepare contract documentation and ensure all necessary documents are certified before placement of orders.
  • Monitor supplier deliveries and follow up on unauthorised orders to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain the order register and ensure transactions are processed with the correct delegations.
  • Perform supervisory functions, including staff performance assessments and ensuring quality of work.
  • Coordinate and implement Supply Chain Management practices effectively within the department.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate and a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Public Management, Financial Management, or an equivalent qualification at NQF 6.
  • LOGIS and BAS certificates are essential.
  • Strong understanding of Treasury Regulations, Public Service Regulations, PFMA, and SCM Legislation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, along with numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to supervise staff effectively.
