What You’ll Do

  • Ensure the effective operation of the Provisioning and Logistics Unit.
  • Manage fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance and insurance claims.
  • Oversee the procurement process for miscellaneous goods and services.
  • Maintain a proper invoice tracking system and process payments promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of Interim and Annual Financial Statements.
  • Monitor the directorate’s budget and ensure compliance with National Treasury guidelines.
  • Manage archives, messenger services, and switchboard operations.
  • Provide support and advice to regional units regarding logistics and provisioning.
  • Supervise office administration and respond to audit queries.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management, particularly in Provisioning and Logistics Management, at a supervisory level.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of Standard Charts of Accounts (SCOA) and Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
  • Proficiency in Logis, Sage, and Archibus systems.
  • Strong computer literacy and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively, including report writing.
  • A high level of integrity and ethical standards, with the ability to work under pressure.
