What You’ll Do

  • Drive light and medium vehicles for passenger transport and delivery of items.
  • Collect, distribute, and control the movement of documents within the department and to external parties.
  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and report any defects promptly.
  • Perform daily pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records and logbooks for vehicle use and goods handled.
  • Assist with registry functions, including filing incoming correspondence and tracing files.
  • Copy and fax documents as required and support administrative tasks as needed.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 10 Certificate or Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET) qualification.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • Familiarity with the local area where you will be operating.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • A reliable and creative approach to work, with the ability to manage pressure effectively.
