What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and manage asset management clerical services.
  • Oversee the compilation and maintenance of asset records and databases.
  • Identify and manage redundant or obsolete equipment for disposal.
  • Verify and maintain the accuracy of the asset register.
  • Supervise demand and acquisition clerical support, ensuring timely order placements.
  • Ensure suppliers are properly captured and registered in the system.
  • Provide logistical support during bid considerations and contract conclusions.
  • Check, place, and verify orders for goods and materials.
  • Receive and verify deliveries from suppliers.
  • Supervise staff and human resources within the department.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a Standard 10 certificate or Grade 12.
  • 3-5 years of clerical or administrative experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • A degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Public Management, or Financial Management.
  • Strong computer literacy and data capturing skills.
  • Knowledge of the legislative framework governing the public service.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks efficiently and work collaboratively in a team.
