What You’ll Do

  • Oversee effective asset management and inventory control processes.
  • Ensure the proper distribution and utilization of physical resources.
  • Manage the administration of losses and damages to state property.
  • Facilitate compliance with procurement regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to supply chain activities.
  • Provide training and support to staff on supply chain management practices.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
  • At least four years of experience in a supply chain or inventory management role.
  • A relevant three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • Strong computer literacy skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and administrative skills.
  • A valid driver’s license for at least a light motor vehicle is an advantage.
