About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Liaise with line functions and finance officials to gather accurate inputs for financial reporting.
- Prepare and consolidate workings, ensuring compliance with GRAP standards.
- Assist in preparing disclosure notes and journal entries related to financial reporting.
- Process financial journals on the designated financial system.
- Manage administrative functions as required by the unit.
- Support the Assistant Director with various financial reporting tasks.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6/National Diploma) in Financial Accounting or a related field.
- Relevant experience in financial reporting within the public sector.
- Knowledge of the PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and GRAP/IFRS standards.
- Proficiency in SAGE X3 Financial System is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Computer literacy, especially in Excel.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for official purposes.
