What You’ll Do

• Liaise with line functions and finance officials to gather accurate inputs for financial reporting.
• Prepare and consolidate workings, ensuring compliance with GRAP standards.
• Assist in preparing disclosure notes and journal entries related to financial reporting.
• Process financial journals on the designated financial system.
• Manage administrative functions as required by the unit.
• Support the Assistant Director with various financial reporting tasks.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6/National Diploma) in Financial Accounting or a related field.
• Relevant experience in financial reporting within the public sector.
• Knowledge of the PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and GRAP/IFRS standards.
• Proficiency in SAGE X3 Financial System is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Computer literacy, especially in Excel.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for official purposes.
