What You’ll Do

• Provide compassionate nursing care to newborn patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
• Uphold infection control and health safety standards in all nursing practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders to improve patient care.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and promote adherence to Batho Pele principles.
• Manage the safe and efficient functioning of the Human Milk Bank.

What You’ll Need

• A Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent.
• An Enrolled Nursing Certificate and current registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Understanding of nursing care processes, relevant legal frameworks, and ethical standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of the Patient Rights Charter and Batho Pele Principles.
