What You’ll Do

  • Assist social workers in providing comprehensive social work services to individuals and families in need.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 10 qualification and completion of the SAW learnership for registration as a Social Auxiliary Worker with the SACSSP.
  • Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Auxiliary Worker.
  • A valid code B driving license.
  • Knowledge of human behavior, social issues, and the South African social welfare context.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and report writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with social workers and multi-sectoral teams.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to address client needs effectively.
