What You’ll Do

• Implement educational programmes at facilities according to curriculum requirements and departmental legislation
• Develop and enforce facility policies and procedures to ensure safe care and development of residents
• Manage administrative functions related to educational activities
• Stay updated with developments in social work and social welfare fields through continuous professional development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address residents’ needs and improve educational outcomes

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate 3-year post-school qualification
• Registration with SACE as a professional educator
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an educationalist or educator
• A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence; individuals with disabilities that restrict driving may also apply
• Strong knowledge of applicable policies, public service procedures, and financial management
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, planning, and interpersonal skills
