What You’ll Do
- Develop web-based programs and applications that meet user requirements.
- Gather and refine specifications based on technical and business needs.
- Design software development practices in line with industry standards.
- Conduct rigorous testing and updates on existing programs.
- Construct web-based software and hardware architecture.
- Create user interfaces that enhance the user experience.
- Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting.
- Troubleshoot development and production issues across various platforms.
- Collaborate with team members during meetings to share insights and solutions.
- Maintain and expand the existing web applications to meet evolving user needs.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Information Technology, Software Development, or Computer Science (NQF Level 6).
- Minimum of 3 years’ junior management experience in Oracle database administration and related concepts.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, PHP, JavaScript, C++, C#, and SQL.
- Strong skills in transactional web application design and development.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Project management and technical report writing abilities.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
