CROPPING/IRRIGATION/HARVESTING FARM MANAGER

A farming operation is seeking a Cropping/Irrigation/Harvesting Farm Manager with strong leadership skills and proven experience managing agricultural activities. The role involves overseeing crop production including wheat, maize, and soya, managing irrigation schedules, and handling large-scale harvesting and planting machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage cropping operations for wheat, maize, and soya.
Schedule and oversee irrigation management.
Operate and supervise large combine harvesters and planting equipment.
Ensure maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
Lead and manage farm staff effectively.
Work independently to meet farm production targets.
Utilise computer skills for farm management tasks.

Requirements

Agricultural Diploma, Degree, or equivalent is advantageous.
A minimum of five years’ relevant farming or farm management experience.
Proven expertise in working with large combine harvesters and planting equipment.
Experience in scheduling and managing irrigation systems.
Strong leadership capabilities.
Computer literacy.
Valid driver’s license.
