CNC Programmer Edgecam

A company is seeking a CNC Programmer skilled in Edgecam to join their engineering team. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines while ensuring precision and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Program CNC machines using Edgecam software.
Set up and operate CNC machines accurately.
Interpret detailed engineering drawings, including tolerances and specifications.
Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, feeds, and speeds.
Set work offsets and tool offsets.
Perform first-off inspections to verify quality.
Identify and resolve issues related to programming, tooling, and machining processes.
Measure and verify machining output to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in CNC programming, machine setup, and operation.
Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications.
Competence in selecting tooling, cutting parameters, feeds, and speeds.
Capability to set work and tool offsets and perform first-off inspections.
Strong understanding of machining processes and production efficiency.
Ability to identify and solve programming, tooling, and machining problems.
Competence in measurement and verification techniques.
