What You’ll Do
- Study and analyze recommendations from the TRC, including final reports and related legal documents.
- Provide legal guidance to TRC investigating officers and draft necessary legal documents.
- Conduct thorough research and prepare legal opinions, policies, and other relevant documentation.
- Engage with stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of TRC recommendations.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics related to TRC matters.
- Assist in preparing charge sheets or indictments as required and make informed legal decisions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic and operational plans.
- Identify challenges affecting NPA performance and propose solutions.
What You’ll Need
- An LLB or appropriate legal qualification for serving prosecutors seeking promotion.
- At least eight years of post-qualification legal experience in criminal litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, professionally, and accountably.
- Right of appearance as per the NPA Act requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with MS Teams and Power BI is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with adaptability and effective communication.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to work under pressure.
