What You’ll Do

• Study and analyze recommendations from the TRC, including final reports and related legal documents.
• Provide legal guidance to TRC investigating officers and draft necessary legal documents.
• Conduct thorough research and prepare legal opinions, policies, and other relevant documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of TRC recommendations.
• Monitor and report on performance metrics related to TRC matters.
• Assist in preparing charge sheets or indictments as required and make informed legal decisions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic and operational plans.
• Identify challenges affecting NPA performance and propose solutions.

What You’ll Need

• An LLB or appropriate legal qualification for serving prosecutors seeking promotion.
• At least eight years of post-qualification legal experience in criminal litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, professionally, and accountably.
• Right of appearance as per the NPA Act requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with MS Teams and Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with adaptability and effective communication.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to work under pressure.
