What You’ll Do

  • Process daily payments of approved benefit claims to eligible beneficiaries.
  • Verify open vouchers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide detailed information for financial reports related to benefit payments.
  • Supervise and manage resources within the Sub-Directorate to optimize performance.
  • Verify and validate beneficiary claims to maintain the integrity of the Fund.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Management, Public Finance Management, Business Management, Economics, or Auditing at NQF Level 6 as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a finance environment.
  • Knowledge of Generally Recognised Accounting Principles (GRAP), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Understanding of Batho Pele Principles, Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Unemployment Insurance Act (UIA), and Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act (UICA).
  • Competence in financial management principles and directives from the Treasury.
  • Strong skills in financial management, communication, training, problem solving, and report writing.

Requirements

An undergraduate qualification in Accounting/ Cost and Management Accounting / Financial Management / Public Finance Management / Business Management/ Economics/ Auditing at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA.

Two (2) years’ experience in Finance environment.
