What You’ll Do
- Authorize supplier payments and claims related to travel, subsistence, and cell phones.
- Track processed payments using the designated tracking system.
- Perform supplier reconciliations and maintain a proper filing system for payments.
- Manage donor funding and assist auditors and other business units.
- Maintain the clearing of suspense accounts and provide comprehensive reports to management.
- Supervise and train subordinates, ensuring productivity and adherence to processes.
- Address all related queries within the unit and manage scanned batches efficiently.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate B Degree (NQF level 7) or a three-year Diploma (NQF level 6) in Financial Management or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of relevant working experience, particularly in payment processing.
- In-depth knowledge of processing payments in BAS, LOGIS, and PERSAL systems.
- Familiarity with supplier reconciliation and compliance with PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with good verbal and written communication skills.
