What You’ll Do

• Administer school funding norms to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Monitor the usage of allocated subsidies in alignment with legislative frameworks.
• Oversee the submission of audited financial statements from schools.
• Evaluate and analyze annual financial statements to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate transparency and accountability in financial management.

What You’ll Need

• An NQF level 6 qualification as recognized by SAQA.
• A qualification in Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Internal Auditing, or Finance Management is advantageous.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a Financial or Accounting environment.
• A valid driver’s license, except for candidates with disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial legislative policies and Treasury instructions.
• Excellent analytical, report writing, and financial management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
