What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement financial management policies and procedures.
  • Advise programme and responsibility managers on budget allocations and re-allocations.
  • Monitor expenditure trends and compile financial statements for annual reporting.
  • Assist in the budget preparation process to ensure alignment with departmental goals.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance on financial matters to improve operational efficiency.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF level 6 qualification as recognized by SAQA, preferably in Accounting, Cost Management Accounting, or Financial Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a finance-related environment.
  • A valid driver’s license (not required for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of financial legislative policies, Treasury regulations, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent report compilation, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Strong record-keeping abilities.
