What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive financial and accounting services to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage revenue and debt services effectively.
  • Facilitate the accurate reporting on revenue and debt, generating insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and oversee systems and procedures for managing financial operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial integration and reporting.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF level 6 qualification as recognised by SAQA; a qualification in Finance, Accounting, Cost, Management Accounting, or Finance Management is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a finance environment.
  • A valid driver’s license; exemptions apply for individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial legislative policies, procedures, and Treasury regulations.
  • Proficiency in BAS and PERSAL systems, alongside functional computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, planning, organisational skills, and good record-keeping.
