What You’ll Do
- Conduct and analyze grievances and complaints from employees in the province
- Draft charges and finalize all misconduct cases
- Represent the Department in disputes referred to the General Public Service Sectoral Bargaining Council (GPSSBC) and the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA)
- Conduct advocacy sessions on employment-related matters
- Provide administrative support services within the section
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management or Labour Relations Management as recognized by SAQA
- A minimum of two years of functional experience in an Employment Relations Management environment
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Public Service Act, Labour Relations Act, and Employment Equity Act
- Skills in negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and report writing
- A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage
