What You’ll Do
- Implement and manage recruitment and selection processes within the department.
- Align job advertisements with specifications and ensure proper formatting for various platforms.
- Coordinate shortlisting and interview processes, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Communicate effectively with line managers regarding selection activities.
- Serve as a scribe during interviews and shortlisting sessions.
- Conduct personnel suitability checks and verify qualifications of recommended candidates.
- Maintain accurate records of all received application forms.
- Arrange competency assessments for candidates applying for SMS posts.
- Provide administrative support within the sub-directorate, including meeting scheduling and secretariat services.
- Supervise and develop staff, ensuring quality control and performance management.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma in Management Sciences, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or equivalent qualification (NQF level 6).
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a human resources environment.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation governing the public service, including the Public Service Act and Labour Relations Act.
- Strong understanding of human resource management policies and practices.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
