What You’ll Do
- Support the skills development process to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Facilitate the skills audit of regional competencies and help develop individual development plans.
- Implement and maintain the workplace skills plan and contribute to the development of training plans and reports.
- Manage learnership and internship processes, ensuring equitable access to training opportunities.
- Facilitate induction programs and oversee the certification of successful learners.
- Maintain the skills development database and compile training statistics.
- Provide secretarial support to regional education, development, and training committees.
- Assist with the administration of study support, including the allocation and management of bursaries.
- Facilitate and monitor performance management processes, offering support to supervisors and managers.
- Analyze trends related to performance management and support the integration of these processes with HR functions.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Relevant experience in training and development practices.
- Strong knowledge of HR development standards and regulatory frameworks, including the Skills Development Act.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret policies, and conduct basic research.
- Proficiency in computer utilization and general administration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in stressful situations.
- A people-oriented and self-motivated approach, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
