What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive audits to assess employer compliance with COIDA regulations.
  • Engage in advocacy efforts to educate employers about their responsibilities under COIDA.
  • Supervise the resources and team members within the auditing section to ensure efficient operations.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas needing improvement in compliance practices.
  • Enforce compliance through inspections and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance understanding and implementation of COIDA.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Financial Accounting, BCOM Accounting, or Internal Auditing as recognized by SAQA.
  • A valid motor vehicle driving license.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in Compliance Management, Auditing, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, laws, and legislation, including COIDA and the Public Financial Management Act.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent facilitation and people management skills to foster stakeholder relationships.
