What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and manage the creation, maintenance, and disposal of departmental records.
  • Oversee personnel files and ensure their accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide internal records management services and support to various departmental units.
  • Attend to clients and register hand-delivered mail and files.
  • Ensure compliance with archival procedures and relevant national policies.
  • Maintain an organized filing system, both manual and computerized.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification at NQF level 6 recognized by SAQA.
  • A qualification in Archives and Records Management, Information Science, Public Management, or related fields is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Records Management or a related field.
  • A valid driver’s license (except for applicants with disabilities).
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of filing systems and document life cycle management.
