What You’ll Do
- Coordinate events and projects related to national and international assessments.
- Provide support in implementing the National Assessment Framework.
- Manage document filing, tracking, and processing correspondence.
- Compile and report financial updates for assessment projects.
- Consolidate quarterly reports on various national assessment initiatives.
- Organize logistical and administrative functions for assessors and researchers.
- Verify payments related to travel and remuneration for assessors.
- Facilitate partnerships with local and international educational agencies.
- Offer administrative support across different sub-units within the Directorate.
- Coordinate meetings for provincial assessment coordinators and other committees.
- Provide secretariat support for various projects as required.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant three-year post-matric qualification (NQF level 6) or equivalent.
- At least two years of relevant experience in an administrative role.
- Strong understanding of public sector operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to think clearly and concisely while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Capacity to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple tasks.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
