What You’ll Do

  • Execute access control measures and monitor movement within and between departmental buildings.
  • Conduct routine inspections and security rounds to ensure safety compliance.
  • Prevent the unauthorized removal of departmental assets.
  • Respond promptly to alarm activations and security incidents.
  • Operate Control Room Security Equipment effectively.
  • Provide security support during Ministerial and departmental events.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 (NQF4) qualification.
  • A Grade C PSIRA Certificate.
  • At least 1 year experience as a Security Guard.
  • A valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Knowledge of security legislation, policies, and access control procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • An innovative and proactive mindset with analytical thinking abilities.
