What You’ll Do

• Manage and coordinate the delivery of Basic Education services across the district.
• Facilitate curriculum management and delivery services along with learner support initiatives.
• Oversee examination and assessment processes for all school phases.
• Provide institutional management, governance, and support services to schools.
• Ensure effective communication between the District and Circuits.
• Align improvement plans with national and provincial educational strategies.
• Engage with stakeholders to foster cooperation and support within the district.

What You’ll Need

• An NQF level 7 qualification recognized by SAQA.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification in education or management is advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a middle or senior managerial role.
• SMS Pre-Entry (Nyukela) Certificate upon appointment.
• A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for candidates living with disabilities).
• Strong competencies in strategic capability, people management, and financial management.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of public sector regulations and educational frameworks.
